We are headed out on March 12th. (and I still have not even gotten the suitcases out of the attic - what am I doing on this computer)
Anyway, in Puerto Vallerta hubby and oldest son are doing the Canopy Tour (Los D Vernos - not a ship excursion) We made reservations on line and they not require that you give them any credit card information to make the reservation. You simply take a taxi to their office $6.50ish per taxi. Check in $72.00 ish per person. They put you in an open air bus to the site (included in the $72). And then bring you back to the office (included in the $72)...where you grab a taxi $6.50ish per taxi back to the ship.
While they are busy with that, youngest son and I are headed to the Krystal Resort - within walking distance of the ship. For about $15 per person in food and drink, you enjoy their facilities (pool beach etc) Bring you own towel.
Mazatlan - We booked Randi's horses on line (again no credit card information needed to book this).
$45.00 per person includes all transportation to and from the ship along with the horseback riding.
You ride among the mango trees and along the beach. Then you buy your own lunch at Victor's, before Randi brings you back to the ship. Again this is not a ship excursion.
Cabo - We are just going to grab a water taxi to the Office on Medino Beach. You do have to get out of the water taxi "in water ankle deep" so be prepared.
