Gym Question
Does it cost extra to work out in the gym on a treadmill or with weights? I know for sure the group classes cost, but how much is a group class?

Dance Lessons
Do they offer dance lessons? Like Ballroom? If so, so you have to pay to take the lessons?

Wind
Does the wind tipically blow more/less certain times of the year? We are going to Jamaica, Cayman, Cozumel on April 18, 2010.

Lounge Chairs
We are a group of 4. Will it be hard to get a group of 4 chairs to sit out on the deck?

No cost to use treadmill or weights. Get up early to get a treadmill. Don't be discouraged by crowds the first morning- the non-serious exercisers won't be back. Get too the pool as early as you can and save chairs with something other than a Carnival towel. Not necessary on port days.

The last time we cruised the yoga classes were ten dollars.

They do have lessons of a sort. Not formal lessons, and not a lot of them, but you'll see them listed in the Capers for a few days of the week. They are usually in the afternoon and will teach one particular dance. It's done as a large group, so it's usually a line dance or something that doesn't require a partner. Frequently they'll have a class to teach some type of Caribbean dance on the afternoon before the big Caribbean themed deck party.

I've never noticed a difference in the wind from one time of year to another. We've cruised eighteen times to the Caribbean. Those times were in the months of January, February, May, October and November

Most days, yes, but on port days, not at all. It's still possible, if you are willing to go farther away from the pool..
