Is anyone going on this cruise? Where are the piers in relation to the airport in Vancouver, BC?

You will be leaving from either Canada Place or Ballantyne pier. Make sure you know where your ship will be docked. The cab ride from the airport to Canada Place cost us about $35.00 when we cruised on Sept. 15th. Ballantyne Pier is further out but not much further.

Beryl gave you a good web site.
The Airport is in Richmond BC and about 30-60 mins from the piers depending on traffic time of day etc. There is a lot of construction going on for the Olympics and it will still be next year.
If you check out The airports site at <http://www.yvr.ca/> and look around you can see all the options for getting to the piers.
Coming in the same day I recommend Limo Jet a car service fixed rate and they get you there in one piece.. comfortably.
Coming early their are the usual suspects of hotels near the airport nad the larger more expensive ones downtown.

Haven't been to Alaska, but we were on Spirit twice, the last time this past Jan. I loved her so much that we booked the same trip for next Feb! Same cabin too! She is a beauty :thumb Happy planning! B)

Going on this ship may 21 2008. Looking for hotel down town for 1 day may 20th. any good places from anybody.

Just did Alaska this past Aug on the Spirit. We did Southbound and loved every minute of our land and sailing trip. Try and request a window table in the dining room, wonderful views each night. Enjoy
