Carnival Spirit ship repositioned to Long Beach...

The Spirit will be repositioned on Oct. 2, 2011. I have already booked it for Halloween for Oct. 30th. It is a 5 day cruise and has great rates presently.

The ship will only stay for a few months and then get repositioned again.

I don't like to fly any more so I try to find cruises out of the west coast near my home.

I flew to Atlanta for Thanksgiving and I got harrassed by the TSA workers. They got me really upset. Plus... when I was flying back home I felt sort of ill and it wasn't air sickness either. I think my old body can't handle flying for too many hours anymore. I am starting to have asthma problems so I don't think flying is for me anymore.

The Carnival Spirit is not going to Long Beach. It is going to San Pedro. The Splendor and Paradise will be in Long Beach. The Long Beach pier can only handle one ship at a time. If you go to Long Beach you will be attempting to board the wrong ship ...

I hope Carnival emphasizes San Pedro or a lot of people are going to go to the wrong place!

Will be interesting, we are taking the Spirit out of San Diego in March. Have not been on Carnival for many years and have never been on a Spirit class, plus this itinerary just goes to Cabo and back so will be different for us rather than our usual Mexican Riviera cruise that we do on the Sapphire.
