Dusty--On the Spirit the daily menus for lunch and dinner are displayed in two locations right outside the dining room on deck 2. One set of menus is in a glass case on the left wall right at the glass doors leading into the dining room. The other is on a stand at the foot of the stairs. The one by the glass door also has a breakfast menu displayed that does not change. I like the concept noted by Joe re: menu on TV; however, I have never seen this on any of my cruises.Of my 4 cruises aboard the Spirit the Captain has never been in the 'receiving line' at the Welcome Aboard Party--just the Cruise Director and his/her staff. The only time I've seen the Captain on that ship is when he is up on stage introducing his staff.Enjoy!
