We will be cruisin' the Triumph May 6,2006 and I was wondering....do the cabins have a VCR, DVD or CD player in them?? We are stayin' in 6331, Upper deck...Mid-ship Starboard. It's a "Private Balcony" cabin. Thanks for any help folks...

no Dvds, vcr,etc in a cat 8 cabin-- only the suites have them. (you have a cat 8A.

As far as your private balcony-- you can see people on the balconies if you are standing at the rails.
the divider is a milky plexiglass and you can see shadows. and hear every word of conversation of your neighbors.
But everytime we ever went out on the balcony our neighbors were never out.

LOL.....No, were not going to watch TV....This is our anniversary cruise (16 years) and the Triumph is doing the same itenerary we did on our honeymoon. We have friends going and I wanted to bring our wedding video and DVD's of past cruises we did.

serene56...thanx for the reply...This will be our 4th balcony cabin (out of 7 cruises) and I never had a problem even IF the "Negihbors" were on their patio.

I didnt know you cruised before and got worried when you said private balcony-- First time cruisers are shocked to say the least on the balcony issue.

Somet vs have the jacks that can be accessed for your own DVD player. Not all tvs in the cabins are created equal.

I thought about that too! I thought I remembered seeing the jacks on the TV on the Pride and the Grand Princess. I may be able to hook up my new MiniDV camera I'm taking with us to view the film I'm taking at the ports . Don't think I'll be dragging along the DVD player though!!(lol) Thanks for the Reply serene56.
