This is really such a matter of personal taste!I have sailed on the three lines you mentioned, on multiple ships in each line.For my money, RCI is first choice and I would choose NCL (newer ships) over Carnival. I was on the Sun in April and had a good cruise. I sailed on the Fantasy when she was brand new and the Inspiration three years ago and would never choose to sail Carnival again. I am sure I will get slammed for that on this forum but we are all entitled to our own opinions. This is why there is more than one cruise line out there and I have friends that just love Carnival and don't cruise any other line. We just don't cruise together!I am in my 40's, enjoy an active cruise with lots of activity and nightlife and sail solo or with friends. I have been on 93 cruises. There is something out there for everyone. Yu just have to figure out your personal style and see what will work best for you.kimmy
