My better half and I just booked this cruise.

We booked balcony on the back of the ship on the verandah deck room number 8439. Can anyone give us and info on this room or any on the back of the ship ?

I was on the Victory last April--great ship, great vacation. We were in a regular balcony on the Verandah deck.

I can't say for sure, but I think I remember someone saying that the deck 8 Aft balconies are really big BUT the people on decks 9 and 10 can look down right into your balcony, so privacy may be an issue. Also, we ate on deck 4 at the very back of the ship, and on rough nights there was some side-to-side motion.
