Our cruise itinerary includes a stop at Casa de Cabo. We've been told there's not much to see or do there. Has anyone been there?

We shopped at the crafts market. Then we hired two pedi-cabs and went to Cabo Wabo the famous bar. There were a lot of shops in this part of town but we didn't shop there. We didn't pay the pedi-cabs until the return trip back to the dock. They were waiting for us when we were ready.

ooooops my bad! Read too fast, we stopped at Cabo San Lucas.

Assuming you are talking about Casa DeCampo, we were there last year on the Millennium. There was not much to do other than walk around the shopping/marina area during the day time. In the evening we went to the Kandella show at Altos De Chavon, DONT MISS THIS SHOW! It's held in an outdoor theater and the show is full of beautiful colors and some great latin music. You don't have to be able to speak spanish to appreciate the show, loads of energy.

This will be one of our ports of call in November. Anyone else "been there, done that"?

Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic: We too stopped there on our Feb. Millennium cruise. If you like a beach break book the ship's beach stop. If not, take the free transfer to the Mediterranean Village and book the Kandela show for at night. this is also a good night to book the Olympic, since there is no entertainment on board ship, etither. Often the ship arrives late and rain can cancel tours. There is not much to do at this port.
