Casa de Campo is one of the ports we will be visiting. I have been unable to determine what we can do there with children. What is there to do?

we went on the Millenium the first of Febuary. We stoped at Casa de Campo. We only took the buses to the artist colony. Not much there. You can see the river where Apoclispe Now was filmed. ( sorry for the spelling) with Marlon Brando. Others went to casa de campo. What I heard on ship was the stop needed to be changed. We were disappointed. I had read on the cruise addicts a not to good review. You will be the only ship there. Maybe in 10 years it will be a nice place to stop not now. Driveing back there were workers in trucks who looked like they did not appreciate you being there. I am not the only one who thought that we had friends with us who didn't feel comfortable there. I don't think there is anything for kids. Take them in and walk around for a while but there is nothing else to do. What ship are you going on and what age are the kids.
have a great trip.

Thanks for the information. I greatly appreciate it. We will be on the Paradise. The kids are 7 and 8. We were hoping maybe to take a cab to the beach, but I've been reading that you cannot use the beach at the resort. Wouldn't like to go to just any beach anywhere, especially with little ones.

Thank you once again. We may have not much of a choice and take a shore excursion.
