My family will be in Cozumel in April and are looking at booking an excursion through RCCL. I was wondering if anyone can tell me their experiences on the Catch the Wave Snorkel Safari?

We are not experienced snorkelers, so we are trying to be careful in our selection.

Is there enough activity to keep 2 teenagers occupied?

hi

We were on the Navigator in Dec and did the Catch the Wave. The boat was nice and there was alot of instruction on snorkeling (too much for us because we know how)
The boat only went about 6 minutes away from the Navigator and stopped and I assumed just for the lesson but actually this is where we snorkeled.
There was a photographer taking underwater pics of you which were $10.
There was a guide which they suggested following but we found the sights more interesting approx where the photos had been taken. We snorkeled a good hour.
They had said anyone wanting to go on the glass bottom boat could get a turn also.
Problem was this was very small, held about 12 people. So not all who snorkeled also got to go on the glass bottom boat.

The open bar was great - get the Sex on the Beach drink - it was good. There were also other snacks to munch on.
We then had about a 15 minute ride into downtown pier because some tours needed to get back to their ships. Then there was a slow ride back to original dock.

I enjoyed myself but wished we could have traveled a little farther away just so I could have seen more of cozumel.

Hope this helps some.
