Does anybody know of a Catholic Mass in St. Thomas on Sunday that starts after 11:30 a.m.? :angel We will only arrive in port at 11 am. The Cathedral's web site says the last Mass is at 10:00 am.

I'm not aware, but I think there are several Catholic churches.

We're usually not able to find a Mass during our cruise vacations. The first one, on Paradise, was supposed to have a priest, and the Mass was scheduled in the Carnival Capers, but he didn't show up. We feel that if there is no Mass onboard and none available in port, that it's essentially beyond our control. We never miss otherwise, and often go to several Masses a week ordinarily, so we're OK with missing if there's no way to avoid it.

Good luck.

Thanks Don. I'm asking for my parents who would skip the cruise before they missed Mass. I was really hoping we'd be able to go to the cathedral in St. Thomas. Think if we offered a big enough donoation somebody would say Mass for us when we arrived?

This is not an answer but, I would like to tell you abour our experience. We visited a 500 year old Cathedral in Mexico on Holy Thursday. It was opened for confession. The huge crucifix at the front of the church was covered and wouldn't be uncovered until Easter Sunday. We went around to look at it from the side. The whole experience took my breath away.
