Cave Tubing in Belize

I just got back from the 5/9 Western Caribbean sailing of Galaxy. We did the Cave Tubing tour and had a blast.

Don't book with the ship!! We booked with Reggie (www.regtour.com) and did the same exact tour for $30 less than we would have paid Celebrity. You have the option of paying in advance, but can also pay in cash at the pier.

We were a group of 4, and wound up going on our own private tour. Our guide Tim was very friendly and knowledgable.

We stopped off for a terriffic local lunch - chicken, rice, beans and Belizean beer for only $5 - and made it back to the ship with plenty of time before sailing.

All four in our group are thinking of going back and would not hesitate to tour with Reggie again.

Feel free to email if you have any questions.

I thought Reggie did all the tours himself. I take it he is an operator with lots of guides working for him.

Thanks for the information Lisa. I have already booked with Reggie for my July cruise. Have heard many people speak very highly of his tours. :AL:USA

Reggie is an independent tour operator. He has a "team" of family and friends that work with him. Tim was our bus driver as well as did some of the narration while on the hike to the river. Reggie's wife, sons and younger daughter often go on the bus and tour with the group. The kids were very nice and helpful making sure everyone was OK. Someone leads and others bring up the "rear" so to speak. Reggie or his guide talks almost non stop in the bus or on the trail telling you about the area, fauna, and history of their country.
Reggie can also design a land tour for you. So you may wish to email him and discuss your options.
