On M class ships, it seems to me that CC rooms are 191 sq ft plus balcony, while 2As 2Bs and 2Cs are 170 sq ft plus balcony.   Difference is in the length of the room.   Widths are the same; that is, just shy of nine feet.   The extra length can accommodate a sofa, which we like instead of the "easy chair" in 2A, 2B, and 2C.  We like the CC benefits including dedicated processing line at boarding and the padded furniture on the balcony.  On an M class ship, we have also had a Sky Suite.  It was on Deck 6.  It gave us more square feet many of which were in the bathroom to accommodate the tub/shower combo which isn't important to us.  The balcony in most of the SSs on Deck 6 is quite narrow.  Perhaps you are booked in an SS that has one of the larger balconies and that doesn't look onto the orange lifeboats which rise from the deck below.  We prefer the shape of CC and locations of many CCs on M class and don't expect to book SS again.  We didn't know what use to make of the butler.  We have been quite happy with our CC attendants.
