CCL dumping Martinique?

Did anyone hear that Carnival was dumping Martinique off their itinerary as of the new year, and putting in Dominica instead for cruises that were going to that port? ... too much bad feedback from cruisers about the rude locals.

I had not heard that but would be glad if they did. Dominica is a beautiful island. We were there in 1995 on the NCL Starward. My husband and I have a CCL cruise booked for 2005 on the Legend and Martinque is one of the stops. I hope they continue this through 2005. ....................Karen
