I have to admit that on 2 nights during our last cruise I wore "dress" shorts into the dining room. They were longer and hit right at my knee so they could have been considered capris but I consider them shorts. I also wore a really nice dressy blouse and nice dressy sandals. I looked more dressed up than the people who were there wearing jeans and tennis shoes.Now, I'm not sure if a guy could get away with that.
