Kathy, when was the last time you cruised her? I think she has been refurbished to some degree anyway. certainly you are correct about the higher price. With the prices being so low everyone should try for a cc or higher cabin. At least get a TA that can check the cabin you select before you make a payment. I remember cruising on the Caribe many years ago and then a second time. The cabins were small to say the least, the ship very small and the entertainment provided by the crew staff. Actually better than you might expect. What the ship had, as well as low prices was nostalgia. She too was a ship designed when classes traveled the high seas. Of course she wasn't the Norway, but the basic trans Atlantic ship for the "OLDEN DAYS". We loved her for many reasons. Again, like the Norway she only visited 3 ports so we had lots of sea time which can be super fun. As long as you are prepared for what you are getting. All cruises offer something special. NMNita
