We are cruising 12/3/05 out of Jacksonville. I am hoping other will join us??? Does anyone have
any suggestions on a hotel in Jacksonville for 12/2/05. Any coments on the Celebration? We are
looking foward to this trip and we will have a good time. The other couple going with us has never
been on a cruise.

Hope to hear from some fellow cruisers going w/us.

Hello................We were on the Celebration 1/05. It was great, we had a good time. The food was awesome and the staff was great. The weather was a different story..... we are from MN and used
to the cold.....I was very much looking forward to sitting by the pool for 5 days but that never happened. You never know what the weather will be like and we did not let it ruin our cruise.Have a good time and bring some sweatshirts.

We have a party of 8 sailing in the Celebration on 10/13/05. We found a Holiday Inn Express in Blount Island it is only 2 minute from the port. It is fairly new opened Aug 2004 (sounds nice). I guess we will find out in a few weeks. This is our first cruise, my husband and I are really excited.

We were on her Nov 05. The ship looks worn in some areas, but everything was great. We did Freeport and Nassau. We been both places before, so it was just a quick get away. Have fun...

The Holiday Inn is indeed new, along with a Wendy's next to it. There is a convenience store across the street also. There are many hotels/motels along airport road that are minutes from the port.

Hi! My husband and I just returned from the Celebration yesterday! (09-05-05 cruise)

I booked the Hilton Garden Inn Airport Park and Cruise Package for $99.00 which included trnsfers to and from the ship and free parking for the duration of the cruise. We had a fantastic King Room and were very pleaed with the accomodations and service. I reluctantly booked this but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Were on the 5th floor with a view of the pool, and a lagoon. Upon reading the literature provided in the room, I discovered the Hilton Garden Inn was only a few years old and completely soundproof so you hera absolutely NO NOISE from the airport! I would recommend this hotel and package for even the pickiest of travelers!

You will have a great time on the Celebration as long as your expectations are not too high! we had great service, great crew, food above average but it wasn't our favorite cruise and I'm glad we had other experiences to compare it too. It was a fantastic value for the money that you pay! And the Jacksonville Port gets an A+ for their effeciency and friendliness. It was just a difficult vacation in that we broke a rudder shortly after sailing and had to cancel Key West and divert to Freeport for 12 hour repairs and the rudder and combination of Tropical Storm/Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ophelia made for some very BUMPY and Swaying times onboard.

We are already looking forward to our RCCL Sovereign Cruise booked for December 5th and a land vacation in NYC on Long Island October 1st!

Enjoy your cruise and let us know how you enjoy it!
