Has anyone recently cruised on either of these ships. I was looking for a recent review. Thanks

I cruised on the Celebration this past September. It is one of the smaller and older Carnival ships, but it is quite nice. It is a very clean, well taken care of ship. There are some vibrations, but I have heard since that it briefly went into dry dock to get this problem corrected. This problem didn't bother me, but I heard some people griping about it. The food in the dining room is very very good, but the food in the lido deck restaurant is just so-so. Definitly not up to par with the larger Carnival ships. The slot machines were very very kind. I made enough money to pay for the 4 day cruise & buy a gold bracelet. Fun! The entertainment was very good. At the time we sailed, we had to outrun a hurricane & the seas were quite rough, so it was even more entertaining to see the juggler trying to juggle. He was very good & only had 2 mishaps, but it must have been a challenge for him. The dancers never missed a step. Rather than going to Cozumel, we were diverted to Vera Cruz, which is not really a "touristy" place like Cozumel. We took a tour of an old Spanish fort which was interesting. There was something else quite interesting about this cruise. I've cruised out of Miami & New Orleans & upon re-entry into port customs has been a joke. However, upon returning to Galveston, everyone had to go through customs before debarking & they carefully scrutnized everyone's papers. Then we had to go through customs again after we debarked, where they once again checked everyones papers again. Also a Coast Guard helicopter escorted us into port. I don't know if this was a "one time thing" where they were looking for someone specifically or if this is just standard in Galveston.
