I have heard mixed reviews from long time cruisers. Especially regarding the new set up in certain rooms with outside air access that are not really balconies . I have yet to figure out exactly which rooms are involved but I have been advised to make sure what kind of opening there is should I wish a balcony. maybe someone here can enlighten us.

What really sold me on this cruise ship is the retreat area for suites , since the Edge retreat area has its own pool, similar to msc yacht club private pool. I love all Celebrity suite perks I have dine suites in rccl with there costal kitchen but celebrity suite dinning room is way better service and food.

Looks very nice.
Have a booking for March 2022 to the ABC islands. It’s a long wait, but really looking forward to the cruise.

The rooms with ”infinite veranda” have a full window where the upper half can be lowered.
I think it will feel much more enclosed than a regular balcony, on the other hand your entire cabin will be like a balcony if you open the inner doors fully.
It also seems to be valid for Aqua and Concierge class cabins. Some Deluxe veranda cabins does not have this type of balcony, but they have on the other hand balconies looking more like port holes. Sunset veranda, looking aft, have a traditional balcony.
I think the suites have normal balconies.

Here is a link to Celebrity veranda staterooms. You can scroll down to see the infinite veranda stateroom (as well as the Deluxe veranda).

I had an infinite veranda booked for March 2022 but decided to switch to a Sunset veranda after looking at some pictures.

Hey Erik .... Hi ! Thanks for this. I see what the issue is. (I think) If there are two of you and you want to go out on the "balcony" and open up, everybody is open. I assume there must be curtains or something to cut light also built into there some where. But it is not obvious. But it would be difficult to separate say if someone wanted to nap or sleep in.

There is actually a glass wall you can close so you can be out on the balcony while the rest of the room is closed. I think it would feel more like having an open window than being on a balcony though.

If you click the link and scroll down on the page you can see a photo of the cabin with the inner glass doors closed (sorry for the text in Swedish...:)).

I believe the infinite balconies give you more living space and a balcony like view. Nice option.
