Hello,

We are currently getting pricing for this cruise, there are four of us, mom/dad plus 13 and 15 year olds. We are looking at quads, family suites, jr. suites, etc., we received a bid for the "Conceirge Class Balcony", which sleeps 4? Can someone tell me about this type of cabin - is there a sofa sleeper or something like that? Would a quad be more comfortable? Any info/advice would be appreciated. The last time we cruised with the kids we had a quad. Any recommendations for specific decks or cabins would be appreciated. Thanks! :sunny:

I sailed the Solstice which is same class. I visited CC rooms on a crawl and I do not recall seeing anything close to what I would think would fit an extra 13 & 15 yr old. Some have the sofa sleeper not all and I don't recall any with births. I would be surprised if X would even take a reservation for a CC for 4. Have you checked with a TA or the Line itself.

Most rooms other than those named specifically for families/quads etc are about the same size. Most balconies are the same size too but there are some on the "Hump" "Angles" that are bigger.

What I can tell you for sure is that it's a long way to the back of the ship from the Elevator and would recommend you try to stay away from there if you can. You spend a lot of time in those halls. There are just the two banks of elevators.

Recommend you contact the cruiseline or a TA that knows their ship stuff.

Thanks for the reply. I did get some more info from my TA today and some of the balcony cabins have 1 birth and 1 sofa that folds out to sleep 4. It will be cozy. Maybe I will try to get one on the Angle, but my TA said these are the same size as the other rooms, however when you look at the deck plans they do look a slight bit bigger.

Is there anyone who has stayed in a cabin on the Hump/Angle?

Much appreciated.

You would be better of reserving the largest cabin with a balcony you can afford....4 people in a cabin will be tight. Also you need a good travel agent....doesn't seem like the one you have knows much about the ship itself...other wise you won't be on this board with those questions. I know of a very good professional agent and in business for over 25 years.
