I do believe that I saw this question elsewhere. The Infinity has a good program for kids but you are likely to find more kids on a RCL ship just due to that line's history with families and X being rather an older crowd without a lot of families. But Alaska is different during the summer and families more obvious. The Infinity leaves out of Seattle.There is always a vegetarian entree on the menu in the main dining room and some look great even to this carnivore. The buffet has all sorts of choices from veggie pizza to sushi.Average Pricing is a bit of a mystery and just a guess. Prices go up and down as things happen. Demand is greater in the summer months prices go up. Early booking sometimes gets you a great price as does closer to the sailing date. The later is always hit and miss of course so it's a gamble. You might not get onboard even. But here goes. $1250 for seven day Infinity, $1700 for the Amsterdam of HAL for same basic trip. That's what's posted now for next yr. So I'm guessing that early days of the season on Infinity would go for around $1000 (plus those taxes and port fees of course) and the HAl ship might drop to say $1500. A good TA might be able to bulk buy rooms and have you sailing for less. As the ship fills up the price goes up and if this season was like last I can tell you from personal experience that on our 7 day sailing out of Vancouver on the Century that listed prices were almost double what we paid by booking a year in advance and the ship was sold out for all their last weeks in September. Who really knows what the economy will be and the demand will be for next year however.Good Luck
