Hey AlCruiser
Now that they are going to fix a pod again.....it shud be ok for another yr. and that being said...It's a great ship....
Big but doesn't feel like it. Great pool deck and the general layout is a favorite of mine.

I personally think is too big. I like the C class ships, Galaxy and Century.

Try both and make your own mind up.

The lines can be very very long, esp on the days when you have to visit the US Customs
folks in the show lounge.

They built medium and large ships to accomodate different tastes.

We have been on the Infinitys sister ship the Millennium and loved it. This size of ship was just right. IMO. My only concern would be if that Stabelizer problem will ever get fixed. Would hate for it to ruin a vacation.

I was on the Infinity 2 yrs ago and really enjoyed the ship. I liked the way the ship was layed out - I never felt crowded. The Thalassotherapy pool was very enjoyable. The service was very good. We particularly liked their modern art collection.

There is minimal size difference between the milennium class of ships and the century class. Milennium/Infinity/Summit/Constellation are rated at 1950 capacity and Century class ships are either 80 or 200 passengers smaller depending on whether you're talking about Mercury and Galaxy or Century (which is a little smaller).

If that is true, then the square ft per passenger is much greater on the M class ships. When the C class is beside the M class,, there is a huge difference in length and width.

I may try the M class again but really do like the mid size ships.

I have sailed Infinity once and have booked two more cruises on her. I could find no fault with food, service and cabins.
