Anyone with experinece with Celebrities Kids Programs, I would love to hear from you.

We are trying to decide between Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Celebrity for a group family cruise in 2005.

There will be kids ages 7-12 on this cruise.

We have been on Disney and of course they have an awsome program!

My son was 10 last summer on the Mercury in Alaska. He loved the kids program. They had many activities, movies, pizza parties, talent shows, etc. Programs were sorted by age groups. I don't recall where they make the splits. For sure the 7 yr old will be with different kids than the 12 yr old.

The kids should have a fun time on Celebrity

The mille class ships have great facilities for kids. Just about anything you could think of.

My husband and I took our 5 & 6 year olds on a 10 day cruise on the Summit and they had a ball. I believe the age groups split into 4-6yr olds, 7-9, 10-12, teens. The counselors were fantastic and provided lots of activities for the kids to keep them busy. We loved our vacation because we knew the kids were safe and having fun (they'd cry when we picked them up- they didn't want to leave) and we loved Celebrity and how classy the Summit was and how much fun WE could have by ourselves. We personally weren't comfortable on a Carnival ship because we're pretty mellow and weren't into partying like most people on board, but their kids program is probably fine (we went pre-kids). So I think if you find a ship you're all comfortable with you're sure to have a great time.

We've taken our kids from 3 up to 14 (only two kids, but they've grown up going on cruises) on various lines. Their favorite is Celebrity (especially the Mercury, but liked Infinity, too), followed by Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Norwegian, in that order. Lots to do (except on Norwegian, for some reason), and in the case of Celebrity, the Shipmates Fun Factory can't be beat. Hope this helps.
