Hi Jenny,I am not familiar with your room location, but possibly someone can help you with that. I n general the ship is very quiet and the cabins we have been in are well insulated and quiet. The Millennium is the first cruise ship to use gas turbines (like aircraft jet engines) to generate electricity that powers the motors that are mounted in pods outside the ships hull. This eliminates noise and vibrations associated with diesel engines and long drive shafts. Most evenings you will not even realize you are moving unless you look outside. At times you will experience some vibration in the dining room, but this is the quietest ship I have been on.Peter
