The wife and I did the same cruise last November, on Millennium.  You can find my full review there, that gives

specifics on each stop.  In short, it was a fabulous cruise which we enjoyed quite a bit.  The only drawback was

that the itinerary made for some very long days out on excursions.  (The two days in Rome were 10 hours each,

most of which was walking.)  Take good comfortable shoes!


I don't know how familiar you are with Europe, but I would highly recommend that you get a couple of books on

the most important ports.  Getting some of the Vatican and Roman history in your head before visiting Rome will

make that visit much more rewarding in my opinion.  The same is true of Florence and its art, if you choose to go

there, versus Pisa.  You must visit Pompeii when in Naples, and Ephesus when in Kusadasi.  Both are very

impressive, world heritage sites and they will amaze and amuse you as well as educate you.
