Here is what makes me wonder about things in relation to this big company. We have been crusing with these guys since 95. Great cruises and we have been Captain's club members since just after our first cruise. Which we paid for under the old scheme. Well they lost our address several times and on one occasion couldn't even find us as members. Now with the new program they send us Invitations to join the Club as new members and want to give us some money off per cabin on our first cruise. I know I know "Don't sweat the small stuff" Well I don't when I'm at sea but when I'm home these little things just pucker my you know what. One would think in this day and age of computors they could tell that so and so (us) at our address is the same as so and so (us) at the same address. They must pay someone a lot of money to run their shore programs and I'm just one lousy guy in small town North America and they screw up with us All the time........
there I feel better. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on this.

I am new to this forum but just had to tell you: "I feel your pain!" Companies must be spending millions mailing out stuff to people that are allready getting their junk mail. We just took out a PO box number to have our magazines delivered there. Now AARP, Good Sam, AAA and bunches of others think we were just dropped off by a space ship in our nice little town. I know any decent database program can cross reference names, zip codes etc! We just booked our first cruise on Celebrity (Panama Canal-Infinity-Dec 7) but have been on a few others. Can hardly wait.

Yes, they have now moved to Kansas! When RCCL made the acquisition, we got lost in the system. They found us and issued new cards. Then they changed numbers
/computers and I needed to get "new numbers" once again= set #3. Ok, now they went to a 3 tier system, but "surveyed" everyone (I did complete the survey and returned it.) to have the correct data; name of cruise ship, dates, etc. We received set #4 for Classic Founder members of the "new" identiy cards but I we had just taken our 5th cruise that put us into another bracket. Recently we booked again #6, so I contacted the Capt. Club desk yet again and they did not even have our first cruise from when I paid the membership fee on file.

Last night I received the new Capt. Club newsletter including the $50 credit coupon and a coupon off the cruise I just booked. YEH. Well I look at the 2 page itinerary spread and find on our cruise, they have Feb.23, 2004 in a Blue Box. Key= blue box means new Celebrity exclusive adults only cruise. Guess what. We have two cabins including the Family Verandah with 3 kids! Now what.

I hope we can get this straightened out before February.
Have a great day. The sun is shining and the skies are blue.

I have been fighting the same battle with Royal Caribbean. When we moved and I notified them of our address change they only changed half of it. That was almost three years ago and they still haven't got it right. When I called RCCI the gal could tell me all about my cruises with them and even more interesting those I have had on Celebrity including our upcoming Infinity cruise in December. Computers are great aren't they????? At least Celebrity CC has everything okay.

Hi Bob:

We have not received our Captain's Club newsletter with coupons. I hear of so many people who are receiving them and also are getting telephone calls, and having e-mail offers made, but we haven't heard a thing from Celebrity regarding future cruise offers or anything.
