Cell Phones and iPods?

Wondering if there is any point in bringing my iPod along. My understanding is that it would work on the ship, but that the fee for using it would be outrageious.

Also wondering about cell phones working onboard?

I leave my electronics at home and my cell phone turn off. - yes, the fee is high besides I am on vacation, it is a time to communicate with my love one and have fun

I agree with you. The only reason I would want my cell phone is if it were cheaper to use it, or if my family needed to get ahold of me. If I could use the iPod to send a text message home, I would do that instead of calling, since it would be free. Since the cruisline charges a fortune for either, I guess those aren't really options.
