Century 1205 stayed there?

A few weeks ago, I booked a 4 nite cruise on the Century online through X and chose cabin 1061. Sail date was 12/20. Recently, I checked out the cruises in Jan 08 and noticed I could get a 5 nite cruise for the same price. Another day on a ship for no extra money, I couldn't pass it up. To my surprise, she offered me the same cabin or 1205. She told me the difference was the balcony....149 sq ft over 69 sq ft. No contest. I took the 1205. Now I wonder if that was a good move. Has anyone stayed in this cabin? Could you give me the particulars? Is this one of the newer suites? I'm not so worried about noise from the golf simulator or jog track, I am more curious as to how "private" it really is. I don't want people watching me as I watch the waters..... any feedback will help.

Gwenn,

1205 is not one of the new suites. It is one of the original Sky Suites. The balconies are luxuriously large compared to those on deck 10. About half of the space is under cover, and about half (at the rail, naturally) is entirely open. From the area of the jogging track above, the open area is totally observable. For most people, the trade-off is fine. Frankly, I'd be more conerned about the noise of early morning joggers, who will be right over top of you. But otherwise, this
is a great room that you will enjoy. Congrats on getting your fifth day
for free.

If the early morning joggers are it, I think I will be okay. I pretty much need a lot more than that to wake me if I am sleeping, and truth is, I wake up pretty early myself. So I think the tradeoff is certainly acceptable. Thanks
