I heard that the Century is going to be adding additional veranda cabins. Has anyone else heard about this?

Yes, RCI made the announcement on 6/1/05 that Century will undergo a major retrofit, costing $55 million. They are adding 314 new verandahs, a new specialty restaurant, a sushi bar, a spa cafe, a
martini bar, and numerous other smaller things. When the project is completed, Century will more closely resemble the M-Class ships.

Thanks Ted! That explains why I couldn't locate the veranda cabin advertised for our planned 2007 cruise.

Actually, the Century drydock is scheduled for April-June, 2006. So, there will be vernadahs for a 2007 itinerary, though I do not know when they will start taking reservations. The minute I could make a '07 reservation for a PH deck OV stateroom on Century, I'd do it. Then, you might snag a "free" balcony upgrade.
