Just booked Cabin 8237 on Century for our married children and grandson. The TA told me this was a "family cabin," and is considerably roomier than a standard outside cabin - 210 sq. ft. as opposed to 175 sq. ft.
Curious to know if anyone has been booked in this cabin, and how it differs in size and configuration from a standard outside cabin.
Thanks.

Hi We sailed in Cabin 8236 last summer. They are great for families. There is a separate area with a double bed, separated by a glass partition from the sitting area, which has an upper berth and 2 lower love seats that convert to beds. You can actually sleep five very comfotrably in this cabin. If you use the outside aft stairs, you can go up to the Islands cafe for morning coffee and bring it back to your room very easily or enjoy it outside if you like. You will not be disappointed with this cabin or its location. Any more questions, feel free to ask. Deb

Thaks for the info. Did you have any of the problems with regard to noise and vibrations?

There was definitely noise and vibration when pulling into port, that was the only time and then for 5-10 minutes at most. Woke us up, but went right back to sleep. Loved the cabin for both its size and location.

We just came off the Century on Saturday . We were in one of the aft cabins (#8222) and other family members were in three other aft cabins. We all agreed that they were great cabins with plenty of space, closets and drawers. The amount of vibration is minimal and only when entering or leaving port. The location and size of the cabin makes up for those few minutes of vibration.
