Hello!

We are considering a Cat 2 on the Century. Anything higher is out of our ballpark.

Can anyone fill me on on this Category? What ammenities come with the mini-suite designation...tender? boarding area in FLL? sodas? :)

There will be three of us in the cabin, 2 adults and a 13 yr old.

I would recommend the Cat 3 Aft cabins. They are along the back end of the ship there are only around 20 of them. They are also called family cabins. We sailed in one last August with our 10 year old son. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and we wound up with 5 days at sea. We were very glad to have the extra room that a Cat 3 provides. My understanding is that a Cat 2 only gives you suite designation ie: free T-pool etc..., but the cat 3 gives you a sitting room with a sofa, loveseat and a pulldown bed. There is a screen that separates the doub;e bed from the sitting area. Can sleep 5 people. We are sailing in one again on Jan. 18. Enjoy...Deb

The cat 2 gives you all the same perks as a suite. Welcome aboard champagne, priority check-in and out, vcr, nice tote bag,use of robes, express luggage delivery, free use of thalassotherapy pool, full breakfast can be ordered in-room, afternoon tea with munchies, free espresso/cappuccino through room service, you get a butler that will polish your shoes , help you pack and unpack. There is more I am am forgetting I'm sure. Boarding is sooo much quicker. Cat 2 also has a small sitting area. Hint, if you can book a cat 2 guarantee you might get lucky like we did and get upgraded to a cat 1!
Have a great cruise on one of our favorite ships :wave
