Traveling on Century with my grandaughter this summer and I read that children under the age of 3 are not allowed in the pools. While I understand the concern is this strictly enforced on the Century

Who knows if it will be strictly enforced? There has been a lot of flap about it, and so if Celebrity is paying attention, it probably will be. I think that to a large measure, they take the position that their pax are responsible people and will follow the posted rules. Having also cruised with a grand daughter, we made certain that she followed the posted rules.

Yes, if a staff or crew member notices a baby or small child in the pool they will ask the parents to remove him/her from the water.

They don't want them in the pool if they are wearing a diaper, for obvious reasons. If they are not wearing a diaper, and are around 3 years old and up and with an adult I've not seen them asked to leave.

Saw several youngsters less that 3 IMO removed on our last celebrity cruise so I would say the answer is a definitive YES.
