Am sailing on the Century 9/13/03 to the Western Caribbean. Can anyone recommend a shore excursion for Ocho Rios, Key West and Grand Cayman? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We were on the Century last month and in Ocho Rios my husband, daughter and son-in-law did the mountain to sea excursion and really enjoyed it. They said the scenery was beautiful and at the end they stopped to swim in a lagoon. My other daughter and son-in-law took the horseback riding excursion and they too raved about it. The horses are retired polo horses and know the trail well. They go down to the sea and after the saddles are removed you go into the water on the horse. In Grand Caymen we all did the stingray and snorkle excursion and that is one you don't want to miss. You will love the Century - enjoy.

Century is one of our favorite ships... we'll be on her for our second time 10/25/03, also Western. We don't do ship excursions much. Tulum might be the exception. In Ocho Rios, you might consider Peat Taylor, who does a good job with the tours, and is well regarded in comments on the boards. We also like Capt. Marvin for the Sting Ray City tour in Grand Cayman.

Whatever you decide, you'll have a great cruise.
