Well, looks like you just may have a ship to yourself. Oh, well--at least shouldn't be hard to get a choice seat by the pool--- and --should have great service in the dining room !!

I haven't sailed on the Century. I'm sorry I can't offer any info. re/ it.
I was just on the Horizon a few weeks ago and my gambling was limited to donating to the slots. I don't even know what they had on the Horizon as far as poker, etc. goes.

Can't help you on the E. Carib. as we did the W. Carib., but we were on the Century 4-02 on our first cruise and absolutely had the BEST time of our lives! Loved every minute except the time to leave! I am 44, wife is 48, and we couldn't imagine having a better overall vacation, or a better ship to cruise on. Not a complaint at all in regards to the ship, but we don't have anything else to compare it to, except from what I've heard and read about the other lines. Food, Service, Excursions, etc. we thought were A+ the whole way. We are getting ready to go on our 2nd cruise, leaving 4-12-03 to the S. Carib. on the Celebrity Constellation! Didn't really consider any other cruise line, but thought the itinerary was better on the Constellation, as we wanted more sedate "beach" type excursions.
Hope a have a GREAT cruise!

Century is one of our favorite ships... we will be sailing on her for our second time in Oct., just a year after our first on her. Yes, there were $5 blackjack tables. I'm looking forward to see how the rebranding enhancements are implemented, and if it changes the experience in any meaningful way.

We liked the E. Carbe intinerary, except that the San Juan stop is way to short and arrives too late. I have pictures posted in the photo gallery and have a review posted, too.

You're going to have a great time if you're looking for a classy, elegant cruise.

HI LNR,
WE WERE ON THE EASTERN CRUISE LAST OCTOBER. WE HAVE BEEN AVID CRUISE-AHOLICS FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS AND WE ARE ONLY IN OUR FIFTIES!
WE WERE ON CENTURY AND I WAS NOT REALLY EXCITED AS WE PLANNED OUR TRIP BECAUSE WE HAVE SEEN AND DONE IT ALL. SS FRANCE, QE II, TS BREMEN, PLUS MANY MORE AND FIVE CELEBRITY CRUISES ON TOP OF THAT.
WELL, I WANT TO TELL YOU, THE SEVEN DAY CRUISE TO PARADISE IS ALIVE AND WELL ON THE CENTURY. WE HAD SUCH GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE THAT IT REMINDED US OF THE LEONARDO DAVINCI! (THE SHIP THAT HAS REMAINED THE HALLMARK FOR ALL OTHERS TO BE COMPARED TO!)
YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME , PROVIDED THE CREW HAS SETTLED IN. (SOMETIMES YOU CAN GET A NEW CREW THAT HASN'T ADJUSTED). OUR CABIN STEWARDESS TOLD US THAT THE CREW ON CENTURY IS ALWAYS HAPPY BECAUSE CENTURY HAS SOME OF THE BEST CREW ACCOMADATIONS IN THE ENTIRE CELEBRITY FLEET.
HAVE A BALL. WE MIGHT EVEN GO AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER AS I AM PUTTING ANOTHER GROUP TOGETHER. IT WOULD BE THE FIRST TIME THAT WE HAVE EVER DONE A REPEAT CRUISE (MUST BE GOOD!).
GOOD LUCK
ROSS

hi Ross.. thanks for the response..glad you liked the ship so much:)
I keep wishing the time would get here already LOL..
Looks like I picked the right ship to sail on thats for sure!
My sister is in her 50's as well and I thought she had cruised alot .. I know she has 20 something cruises under her belt..she recommended the Century to me :) figured she knows a nice ship!
Actually she and my brother-in-law are flying to CALIF this weekend to sail on the Mercury!
( we live in Florida).
Thanks again for all the wonderful info!
Happy Sailing,
Lois

Ross, I did a double take when you mentioned the Leonardo da Vinci. My husband and I took our first cruise, which was also our honeymoon, on that ship thirty years ago, and we still remember its outstanding service and cuisine. Around three years ago, we thought cruising isn't what it use to be, and then we discovered Celebrity. During the past two years we sailed on the the Infinity to Alaska, the Millenium to the East Carribean, and we booked a cruise on the Century for December.
