Here are the recipes from a thread on the community message board:
2 lb. hashbrown potatoes
1 pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 c.)
1 sm. Velveeta cheese pkg.
1 stick butter
1 pt. of half & half milk
Put potatoes in 9x13 inch pan. Put the rest of ingredients in medium size pan. Cook over low heat, until cheese melts. Pour over potatoes. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
POTATO AND SOUR CREAM CASSEROLE
1/2 cup chopped onions, saute'd in 4 tablespoons butter. (Be sure to include all the melted butter into the mix.)
1 pkg. (2 lbs.) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 pint dairy sour cream
1/4 cup milk
2 to 4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 pepper
Mix all the above ingredients together and spread into a greased, shallow (2 quart size) baking dish.
Mix together the following ingredients and spread over the top of the potato mixture:
2 cups crushed corn flakes
4 tablespoons melted margarine
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees, for 45 minutes
These are not mine but they sounded good and they weren't already here!
