Children and the Dolphin Encounter in Nassau

Has anyone taken a small child for this? My neice will be 4 and is very excited to "swim" with the dolphins. The website says you have to be 6 to swim but you can do the encounter at a younger age. I'd love to hear from anyone who took a toddler to the encounter.
