My wife and I took a Christmas cruise for our Honeymoon almost 4 years ago on the Destiny. Not only is it worth the extra cost, the only thing that could have made it better would have been more family! (over for christmas, not our honeymoon :p )

We had an eastern caribbean itinerary and the weather was beautiful, temperatures around 80-90. Don't be fooled though! we got caught lapsing in our thinking.. justbecause it is december and christmas doesn't mean you don'tneed sunscreen! :p needless to say we were a lil cooked because we didn't think that far. After all, up in St. Louis, we are cold and snowy that time of year :p The nights could get a lil chilly, but not badly so, just bring a light jacket or sweater and you should be fine.

The ship will likely be elaborately decorated for Christmas, and most music will have a Christmas season theme. Menus will also be modified somewhat to emphasize sesonal offerings. Christmas and New Years are wonderful times to cruise; just be prepared for lots of kids on board, not to mention Santa on Christmas morning.
