the best advice is the one about using the cyber cafes in the ports you'll visit. They are inexpensive, fast and private. Your teen can talk or play much less expensively than on board. The computers on board are fine, and the "techies" are helpful, but the $$$$ add up very quickly because the connection is extremely slow. You also have the option of paying $2 for EACH email you send or receive, unless you add pictures, then the cost jumps. Hope this is helpful and have a great trip.
