concierge class

I'm planning my first celebrity cruise after three with princess. Good or bad move? Anyway I have a choice between one of those great rooms looking over the back of the ship with a huge balcony or a regular room with a balcony in concierge class. The room on the back of the ship WITHOUT concierge service is about three hundred dollars cheaper. I dont know anything about concierge class and if its worth moving from that great room in the back.

We've been on Princess before and you have some trade-offs between the two lines. We enjoy Celebrity a little more, but would never say no to Princess either. Concierge service is similar to the same package that comes with a suite which we've had twice on the Centruy and well worth the money (if you like to be spoiled).

Don't think the extra money for the Concierge class is worth the extra money for us. I prefer the cabins on the Panaroma deck that are not right below the overhang.

A robe and a bottle of cheap champange does not do it for myself and my wife. Both cabins are the same size and in my opinion Deck 8 has the better location.

I don't think there is that much difference that I would spend the extra money for concierge (save it for shopping). Have been on both Princess & Celebrity and I think they are both great cruise lines however, I would give the edge to Celebrity.

Scamper,
That is a hard question! We just returned on the Millie and had CC and loved it. And we have already booked 8/27 and 9/7 for CC again. BUT, on those cruises we have the aft facing rooms with the big balconies so we are double blessed. I do love the rooms with the big balconies, and I would find it hard to give that up - especially in your case where they are a good bit cheaper.

I vote that you KEEP your room and enjoy the balcony and try CC another time!
