Conniecat update 7/24

I've tried calling her several times but no answer. Finally saw her today. Yhey were getting ready to take her to dialysis. She is now on dialysis permanetly. Looks like she has lost some weight, her color was good. The nurses wrapped the bandages around her legs (Shin area)to tight and caused blisters. Her feet don't look good at all. They are a blackish purple color. I'm very worried about them.

She is staying at the
the Cedars at the JCA
13190 South Outer 40 Road
Chesterfield, MO 63017
Room 2223

Thanks for the update. Many of us have been wondering about her. I wish the news was better. Let her know that all of her cruise-addicts friends are pulling for her to get better soon.

Thanks for the report. Can you send an address so that we can send her a card at least? Hope she knows everyone here is rooting for her.

Thank you so much for updating on Connie.

I was really hoping that no news was going to be good news. Alas that is not the case.

Prayers for Connie.

Oh my, not what I wanted to hear either. I am so sorry she is having such difficulty. My heart goes out to Connie cat. I, too, worry about her kitties, home, etc. and hope that she recovers soon and is back home where she is more comfortable.

(((HUGS))) to you, Connie Cat!!!

well my supposition on the dialysis has unfortunately come to be..sigh..and the wraps etc too..prayers continue for the balance of the care regime..if only it works out she eventually does get to go Home..in reality it's so slim a chance..:(..but I will hold out for her.. and let her know she's got all of us pulling for her..HUGE hugs...Joanne

Heart heavy as this doesn't sound good at all and if Joanne says "slim" we know she sees this all the time...but there is miracle in prayer so will keep praying for our Connie....God Bless you Connie.

Thank you scrapbook lady as we have been really worried about Connie. This news is not good but it could have been worse. Let's keep the prayers coming for her.

Thanks Scrapbooklady for letting us know where Connie is and how she is doing. I am sorry that the news sounds so dire for her and I am hoping that she can get to a place of healing soon!

I am worried about her beloved kitties too - do you know who is taking care of them? Does she have children or family?

I will get some cards to send to her and if you see her ask her if she needs any books - I'd be happy to try to get some out to her. The days can be very long when you are ill.

Well, that certainly wasn't the update any of us wanted to hear. I'm really sorry about this news. I believe we once heard that her son was watching over the cats, but it's not like having their mom there with them. Prayers will of course continue that this can be resolved and she can return home to them.

Like everyone else not the news we wanted to hear. Many hugs and prayers her way and will get a card in the mail this week - towards the end of the week so they will continue to come in over an extended period of time.

Thanks Scrapbook Lady for the update......though it certainly is very disturbing. We all had hoped for better news.....still sending good thoughts to Connie.....and the hope that she will somehow be able to get back to her home and her fur brood. I know they all miss each other.
