Tried to phone Connie just now. She was discharged yesterday (Thursday), so please don't try calling her at the number/room number we had.

Guess we'll need to wait for an update from her or her DIL. But it sounds like she's progressing.

Conniecat update

Connie was discharged yesterday and was sent to a Therapy Center. Her new Phone number is 314-446-2150 room 2016. As of yesterday they were still looking for a doctor that will do the proceedure.

I just got off the phone with Connie. She sounds extremely downhearted - she said the cardiologists refuse to operate on her (via catheterization) because she's too great a risk and they don't want that on their record!!!!!!!!!!!! They still contend she would not survive open heart surgery either.

Her son and DIL will try to corner Simon on Sunday to take him to see Connie. She wonders if Simey will still remember her. I told her OF COURSE HE WILL!!!

If you can, give her a call. I'm sure it would boost her morale.

Glad to read that Connie has be move to the thearpy center. Hope the kittys will be able to visit with Connie. Contuned Prayers for Connie.

Although I'm glad that she's out of the hospital setting, I'm saddened that surgery is still not an option at this time. I send my very best wishes... and I know that Simon will not only remember her, but will cheer her up considerably. (Hey, he cheers me up, and we've never met!)

I'll try to give a call tomorrow. Thank you for the info.

Thank you for the up-date. I will continue keeping her in my prayers and I know that seeing her "furbabies" will cheer her up abit. Connie, my thoughts & prayers are with you my friend.

Connie.....I am saddened that the medical community won't risk giving you a better life. No amount of signed releases will change their minds? Prayers on the way for a miracle.

Please let us know when Simon & Co. come to visit! You just have no clue how much joy their antics and your FABULOUS photos have brought to all of our lives. HUGS!

Also thanks to Connie's DIL and Mary Ann for the updates......if I missed anyone.....THANK YOU, too!

I have been wanting to call Connie but I have been busy with a large family wedding and work. I am hoping I can find a spare moment this upcoming week to give her a buzz. In the meantime I hope she feels better.

I am so saddened to hear that Connie can't get the surgery she so desperately needs. I sure hope Simey isn't too freaked out at visiting Connie in a strange location....I know she needs all his love and purrs. Prayers and best wishes for you Connie.

I haven't been around for a few days as we have had visitors.
I hope Simon can get to visit her soon and give her some kitty love, he would never forget his mum! :)
