I have tried to register with carnivals fun pass quick embarkation system. The sailing dates for the conquest are wrong. We are set for March 21, 2004 which is a sunday the day the Conquest sails. All the dates listed on the form are wednesday's which would be the holiday. Anyone else notice this and if so what did you do short of calling Carnival. (I have done that and never get to a human) Thanks for any help

Oh that is frustrating. You know, I was able to call Carnival before and talk with an operator but I don't remember how I did it. I read a review earlier on this Carnival board that said that those that did the fun pass had a longer line to wait in so I was not sure if I was going to do the online registaration. We did RCCL online registration last year and we were on the ship within 1/2 hour of arrival at the port. Are you packing yet? Only 84 days to go! Won't be long now :) Nan

thanks for input. I think I will call again and see what happens. I dont know it it will help or not. Kathy has started gathering and lining things up but I am not sure about packing. I will wait till that thursday night to start. (we leave for NO on friday am) lots of time lol. If you pass by our area in route watch for the light display, that will be her yelling at me for not telling her I need some shirts ironed or I need something from the store that I did not tell her about. lol

Too funny Randy.

I am too obsessive. I am starting to fold things into piles. Checked the Bonine for expiration date and threw that in and the sun block. I will spend my New Years Eve packing this year :) We really do have to get ready early though because we won't get any time off until we go now. Getting ready is sure fun though!

About the on line registration-have you checked the site again to see if it was just a glitch?

I have always believed that the real fun in the adventure is getting there, not the destination it self. So I must confess, getting ready is fun, but remember what I do for a living, packing is second nature. lol. The fun pass board still shows the wrong dates but I did get a hold of a real live human at Carnival. She tried telling me it was only my computer and that it was the Destiny. Well after a couple of minutes she was finally convinced that one of us was wrong and it was not me. She e mailed me the info so I will fill it out and than I am going to have our TA fax it back. That way I have a witness that it was done. So far that is the only hitch SO FAR. Getting closer to count down.

i attempted the fun pass earlier today and i noticed my first name was spelled wrong i contacted carnival and they told me that i had to contact my travel agent, which i was unable to do today, but i do not sail until february so i have plenty of time to fix it, but im curious would that have caused a problem boarding if i had not caught that mistake?

I really do not know the answer to that question. But with everything happening today, I would not want to chance it. It is better to get that fixed now than wait and find out.

Wow, that seems like alot of monkey business for this fun pass! I am going to hold out for a bit and see if they correct this mistake on their website.

Randy, I just emailed you. This is way more difficult than the RCCL online registration. I am cocerned as the website states that I am not actually sailing on the Conquest. How Confusing! :( Nan

Ouch, this sounds painful =hammer. Sure hope you guys get Carnival to work the bugs out before I try in March. Boarding didn't take that long last year, even though the VIctory was a full ship. Sounds like your having to spend more time on line and on phone working this out than you'll save. Good luck, Pat

The problem is that some of us were issued the wrong booking numbers by Carnival. If you are unable to access your account, contact your travel agent and they may issue you a new booking number. Carnival is going to have to work out the kinks on this one. Once you are issued a new booking number, it may be easy. This is exactly what I had to do. Now, if you are unable to get a new booking number, you will need to have them email you the paper work and then you will need to fax the paper to Carnival. Good luck and I recommend anyone booked on Carnival get started on this right away as it could very well be a lenthy process! ! Nan
