I'm not sure.. we're booked for next July and it's going out of Galveston for us?? maybe in 2008?? I thought though that they are moving another one over to New Orleans??? ( I could be wrong, it's happened many times before LOL)

Carnival is moving another ship to NO, not the Conquest. I think it was the Triumph or Destiny.

Yep, it's the Triumph; not sure about dates, sometime late next year I think. Looks like the Conquest is staying in Galveston.

The Carnival Freedom will come to Miami in November 2007, taking over the Carnival Triumph's old itinaries. The Carnival Triumph will then move to New Orleans to take over a very similar route to that of which the Conquest used to sail on. The Carnival Conquest will remain in its new home of Galveston, Texas.
In addition, 2007 will end the streak of alternating Canadian Cruise ships. In the summer, the Victory and Triumph would rotate each year, one would go up to New York to do Canada cruises, the other would stay in Miami. Next year the Victory will once again head north and probably will continue to do this for the forseeable future.

has anyone been on the carnival conquest we are booked for august 26, 2007 what are the pros and cons on this ship what do we look for and it now goes to montego bay and grand caymans and cozumel we have been to the caymans on elation and cozumel and have done the following ships once on elation once on celebration once on rhapsody and once on sapphire princess my favorite is still carnival
