I'm also wondering about any hotels within a reasonable (like less than a mile) walk to the pier and a reasonable cost. Not like a budget inn, but something between 70-100 for a night. I'm used to Lambert Intl. Airport that's over a mile long and don't mind the walk, though at the same time, I am on vacation here Rembrant
