Hello all.....

We are sailing on the Conquest in September and have never been on a cruise before! It's myself, my husband and our 7 year old son. Any advice would be great!

The Conquest is a great ship and you will love it. Chances are, the Conquest will actually cause you to become "addicted" to cruising ! Conquest was my first cruise as well. I suggest that you start searching for some private shore excursions. Many of us can recommend some that we have used. It saves money and you aren't just another head of cattle in the crowd like most ship sponsored excursions. So, let me know your ports and we can help you out. Welcome to cruising !

absolutely love the Conquest also!!! our son is 7 also, and we have 3 daughters ranging from 13 to 21, we always travel with all of our family so a little bit of all ages, and so far everyoone has loved it. Our son has been on 5 cruises, and so far hasnt done very much of the camp carnival, just a few things each time. he hangs out with us, we go to pool, slides, shows, play games, you name it, he never gets bored and has always had a great time. He cant wait to go again, we r going Oct, 16 out of New Orleans this year. What ports are you going to? Post them and ill try to give some info on things weve done if it will help. everyone aboard will make your son feel so special, after the 1st night they all know him by first name and always comment on his day or what hes done that was fun. They always bring him special stuff in the dinning room. Its just always been a great experience for us.
