Dress codes for the specialty restaurants are the same as the dining room. Resort casual on most nights. If you go there on formal night you can wear formal wear if you want to.

I thought the supper clubs were tie and jacket and I know that my DH and I went to the one on the Conquest and everyone was wearing them.

I usually wear a jacket and tie to the specialty restaurants but it is not required. The following is from Carnival's web site. Under "Cruise Elegant" dining it says a sport coat is "suggested". I always like to get dressed up for dinner. :)

Cruise Casual Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Sport slacks, khakis, jeans (no cut-offs), dress shorts (long), collared sport shirts; Ladies - Casual dresses, casual skirts or pants and blouses, summer dresses, Capri pants, dress shorts, jeans (no cut-offs). Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Casual dinner for ladies and gentlemen: gym shorts, basketball shorts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, cut-off jeans, and sleeveless shirts for men.

Cruise Elegant Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Dress slacks, dress shirts. We also suggest a sport coat. If you wish to wear suits and ties or tuxedos, by all means we invite you to do so. Ladies - Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; if you‘d like to show off your evening gowns, that's great too! Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Elegant dinner for ladies and gentlemen: shorts, T-shirts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, jeans, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men, sportswear, and baseball hats.

The night we ate at the supper club dressed nice but not formal. I wore a skirt with a lite jacket and my husband wore slacks and sport coat. But not all men had jackets. We anticipated a nice dinner and didn't really mind paying the extra $$ - we were so impressed with the dinner, from beginning to end. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere perfect and the food was indescribably delicious!!! I hope your experience is as memorable as was ours.
