Definitely not too upscale. It was our kids' first 7 night cruise and they loved it. The atmosphere is very different from Carnival, but it's a good difference, IMO. The camp counselors are a bit more "tame" or laid back compared to other cruise lines, but the kids' program is a very good one. The teens have their own deck area to hang out at and their own hot tubs too on some of the ships (I would think the Caribbean Pr. would be the same.) They have some very nice prizes for the kids to win and the best pizza around!
