Lisa,I'm sorry but we didn't go into the pool and I can't really remember. I looked at the photos that I took and I saw that you have to go up about 4 steps to get to the pool/whirlpool area and then down into the pool. There are rails going up and down into the pool.I remember posting on Cruise Addicts photos of the ship which includes our accessable room on the Vista deck (7137) and of the pool. Look up. I think I listed it as Constellation, Southern Caribbean 2/21/03.Judy
