Terie,I haven't done Bayonne, but have sailed from NYC in the Spring. Deborah (Sailboat) has given you good advice. Whether there is water in Connie's outside pool or not, it will probably be way too chilly in April for the pool. But, the T-pool is inside and heated, so you can get a headstart on swimming. And, you will find that the ship has plenty to do. I promise you won't be bored.You will definitely feel motion in the open Atlantic, though it will not be bad, more than likely. If you are concerned, take some non-prescription Bonine with you, or see your physician for a patch before you sail. Personally, I have found Connie to be very stable and have not had problems with motion.Enjoy your cruise.Ted
